The treatment of large capillaro-venous malformations of the head and neck is quite challenging. We propose a combined treatment: the injection of a sclerosing agent (Etibloc) into the malformation and removing it two weeks later. Blood loss is minimal and there have been no complications. Pathological specimens presented a unique resorcinophilic meshwork. In our opinion the treatment proposed may be the treatment of choice for this type of vascular malformation.
