Provision of light and lighting levels have in the past been low on the priority list for new and modernized farm buildings. Recent legislation on health and safety and new British standards from farm buildings have forced a more critical approach to farm lighting. The article discusses the latest recommendations and ways that buildings can be effectively and economically lit.
