Four A.I. boars were exposed to normal indoor applications of the insecticide Omexan (at 4% a.i./200msuperscript 2) and its effects on spermatogenesis and sperm maturation were studied. Oral doses were also administered to 2 of these boars (at about 5 mg/kg bodyweight). The sexual behaviour of the boars was unaltered and no effect on sperm production was noted.
