In 32 patients with left bundle branch block of ischaemic etiology, the left ventricular function was determined by radionuclide ventriculography, ultrasonocardiography in M-mode and polycardiography. According to settlement that radionuclide ventriculography is a more exact method than two others. The comparison of separate coefficients obtained from both methods which gained from radionuclide ventriculography was done. The defected performance of left ventricle was observed in that group of patients. It was established that from ultrasonographic examination the estimation of left ventricular ejection fraction, mean velocity of circumferential fibers shortening and the amplitude of posterior wall movement is of great value. Selected from polycardiography coefficient, ie. time of tension grovement minus the retardation of pulse wave time does not reflect the impairment of ventricular function in these patients.
