A 15 .times. 15 cm non-ulcerating cellular-blue naevus on the occipito-parietal region of a four-year-old female patient was excised and showed focal junctional activity and naevus cell aggregates (NCA) in the local draining lymph nodes. A comment is made on the origin of the NCA and their significance.
