Treatment of arterial hypertension with corinfar

A single and multiple administration of corinfar was evaluated in 60 hypertensive patients. A single dose of the drug induced a fall in elevated arterial pressure with increase in cardiac output for those with hypo- and eukinetic circulation. The trend in arterial pressure in response to a single corinfar administration may be of help in prognosing the efficacy of a long-term regime (22.6 days on an average).
