Condition of hemostasis in the hemorrhagic syndrome of erysipelas patients

The degree of procoagulative and platelet links of hemostasis and fibrinolysis participate was studied in the development of the hemorrhagic syndrome in the erythematous-hemorrhagic and bullous-hemorrhagic forms of erysipelas. 130 patients suffering from the hemorrhagic forms of erysipelas and erythematous erysipelas were examined. It has been found that both the procoagulative and platelet links of blood coagulation contribute to intravascular blood microcoagulation. The hemorrhagic syndrome in erysipelas patients is probably caused by a combination of pronounced intravascular microcoagulation and activation of fibrinolysis.
