Integrating long-term sound emission measurements for the determination of dosage or equivalent permanent values have been proving their worth for years. Because of its advantages, this measuring principle is increasingly applied for the registration of the vibration effect on man. The measuring-electronic industry of the GDR provides two types of integrating sound measuring instruments and the new human vibration meter that are the instrumental basis for the application of the integrating long-term measurement of sound and vibration emissions in industrial-hygienic and communal-hygienic measuring practice.
