Peripheral false arterial aneurysms in Behçet's disease

Spontaneous aneurysms of peripheral arteries have occasionally been reported in Behcet's disease, but to our knowledge, in only one case was a spontaneous false aneurysm found. Other false aneurysms reported in Behcet's disease have all followed either arterial punctures or arterial reconstructive surgery. A 42-year-old man with Behcet's disease is reported who had a spontaneous false aneurysm of the common femoral artery and who developed two other false aneurysms following arterial reconstructive surgery.
