The effect of DHETM (Redergam) has been examined in 20 patients suffering from acute cerebral injury, 52 patients with chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency, 59 hypertensive patients without cerebral injury. The drug influenced the symptoms accompanying cerebral lesion very favourably and lowered the blood pressure to the required level. According to the opinion of the author Redergam is useful especially in the treatment of senile patients suffering from cerebrovascular injury and concurrent mild or medium severity hypertension when given in the higher doses applied recently.
