Reflection of short-term memory processes in electrographic indices

The dynamics of a complex of spectral-correctional characteristics of human neocortical potentials in the process of short-term memory was studied in 8 healthy people in order to detect specific EEG reorganization associated with memorization processes and the reproduction speed. A direct correlation was established between the increased time of the subjects correct answers and the degree of synchroneity of the potentials of points in the temporal areas during memorization. These changes point to varying specialization of the cerebral hemispheres in short-term memory processes.
