The experimental models of three tests (pulmonary and keratoconjunctival tests, hemolysis of erythrocytes of four species) are used to reveal virulence factors in pathogenic Escherichia isolated from different environmental objects. 12.6-35.6 % out of 118 studied strains of 24 serogroups of pathogenic Escherichia possessed some virulence factors. Serogroups O25, O26, O55, O151 isolated mainly from sewage and different washes dominated among them. Ram and human erytrocytes are recommended to be used for detecting Hly-plasmids in pathogenic Escherichia.
