Reproductive rights of Nepalese women: current status and future directions

The important elements of reproductive rights of women, as indicated in the various internationally sanctioned conferences and the laws of Nepal, are outlined and discussed. Also, the current status of enjoyment of these rights by Nepalese women is discussed, as well as the indicators of reproductive health in Nepal. The discussions include topics as women's right to life, reproductive security and equality; abortion; and right to privacy (in cases of HIV/AIDS).
