The hematologic profile of the peripheral blood of normal mice was compared to that of mice innoculated in the peritoneum with Ehrlich carcinoma cells (MuMT). Daily, groups of ten mice were sacrified up to the twentieth day of the experiment. During the experimentation period, there was a gradual decrease of the red blood cells and an inversion of the percent number of the polymorphs relative to the lymphocytes; the former increased gradually, while the latter declined. The monocytes and eosinophils increased percentagewise in the first days, then decreased during the second half of the study period to about half of the initial levels. The platelets increased only slightly in the first two days and declined progressively to the twentieth day until one-fourth of the initial levels.
