"This paper examines the factors that determine married women's labor force participation. The main purpose of analysis is to compare various factors including uncompensated wage effect and income effect among low-income, middle-income, and high-income families.... The analysis shows that child-care is the main factor...deterring labor participation of married women of low-income families....
