Sero-epidemiological survey of measles was undertaken among 5 years and above population. Out of 311 samples examined 72 (23.2 per cent) were positive in diagnostic titre. Sero positivity among 5-9 years was 52.9 per cent, it decreased linearly with the advancing age and was 14.3 per cent by 45 years of age. There was no difference in age-group positivity pattern among the population from urban, urban congested and rural areas.
