The Porges techniques for vaginal hysterectomy is described and a series of 70 cases is presented. The ease and advantages of the technique, such as fewer operative stages, shortened operating time, low morbidity and short hospitalization, are emphasized. There were no complicatons related to the operative technique, either during or after operation.
