Preliminary studies on comparative efficacy of Brucella abortus antigens in indirect immunofluorescence technique

Three types of B. abortus antigens (killed by phenol, formalin and heat) were evaluated for their sensitivity to indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) test. Comparative titres of intergrouping of three types of antisera raised against these antigens were also determined by agglutination test. Phenol killed B. abortus antigen was more sensitive than the formalin and heat killed antigens for IFA test.
