Surgery of a 9-year-old Corgi with a history of intermittent cystitis and, for the past 2 months, tenesmus, revealed prostatic enlargement primarily caused by the development of a large cyst with a calcified wall. Histologically there was no malignancy. The case was suggested to be of bilateral perineal hernia with displacement of cystic prostatic tissue into the right perineum.
