This report summarizes the results of the Peru Demographic and Family Health Survey on demography, fertility, fertility preferences, contraception, marital status, assistance during delivery, postpartum variables, infant mortality, receipt of vaccines against tuberculosis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, poliomyelitis and measles, and number of diagnosed and treated diarrhoea cases. The data presented are based on the interviews of 11 717 women (aged 15-49 years) during 3 December 2003-4 September 2004 and January-September 2005.
