Extracts of 115 seeds belonging to the families Solanaceae, Cucurbitaceae and Leguminoseae were tested with human, rabbit, cattle, goat, sheep, gaping, dog, monkey and pig blood. 45 of these extracts reacted with the r.b.c. of one or more species of animals.
