This exhibit discussed the commonly used imaging modalities that can be used to localize the lesion in a patient with a known pheochromocytoma. This localization must be accurate since the site of the lesion plays a decisive role in surgical managemnt of this condition. Computerized tomography (in the future MRI) should be the method of choice for preoperative localization of a known pheochromocytoma.
