The present paper is an attempt to highlight the malaria situation in the context of malaria eradication programme in India. The man-made natural destructions such as concretization, water storage for future consumption, irrigation etc., sometimes shouldered the responsibility of emerging malaria in the non-endemic areas. The findings reveal the fact that besides other factors, it is essential to bring about the changes in the health seeking behaviour among the rural inhabitants and especially among the migrant laborers, who are frequently traveling from one direction to another with carrying the malaria parasite with them. The control strategy will be fruitful & it can achieve the goal when people understand the problem of disease spread and its management & can realize the seriousness of the disease, along with the Health workers. The health workers have to be oriented to malaria properly along with the community for better malaria control.
