The ultrasonic and angiographic appearances of Wilms tumours in adults

The ultrasonic findings in three cases of Wilms Tumour (nephroblastoma) in adults are described. The appearances are not distinctive and do not help to differentiate these tumours from renal adenocarcinoma (hypernephroma). In the two cases in which angiography was performed a distinctive pattern has been seen and this may be helpful in distinguishing nephroblastoma from renal adenocarcinoma.
