Spray dried powders of the pods of A. n. nilotica, A. n. tomentosa and A. n. astringens gave 100% mortality of Bulinus truncatus and Biomphalaria pfeifferi at 60 ppm, whereas aqueous extracts gave 100% mortality at 200 ppm. Spray dried powders of stem back of the 3 acacias gave 100% mortality at 80 ppm, whereas aqueous extracts gave 100% mortality at 200 ppm.
