Prevalence of antibody to typical and atypical rotaviruses in pigs

Of 162 pigs of different ages in five farms in five English counties 99% had antibody (by immunofluorescence) to group A rotaviruses, 86% to group B and 77% to group C. Of 14 pigs at an abattoir all were serologically positive for group A, 12 (85.7%) for B and 13 (92.8%) for C.
