Sixty-eight patients with myasthenia (M) have been studied. It has been established that the ocular form of M is more prevalent in Uzbekistan than the pharyngofacial one. Anticholinesterase therapy is effective in the ocular form of M while in other forms a combination of anticholinesterase therapy with X-ray irradiation of the thymus or thymectomy is indicated.
