The paper presents methods and results of ultrasonic diagnosis of pathological changes in the pericholedochal lymph nodes which were found in 117 patients with acute diases and exacerbations of a chronic process in the bile system. It has been shown on the clinical material that nonspecific pericholedochal lymphadenitis can be diagnosed by echography in patients with jaundice of obscure etiology.
