By temperature comparisons at measuring points in different altitudes, by criteria for wind speed and by data of the ascent of radiosondes, extraordinary situations of immission, related to SO2, and caused meteorologically over a limited period was estimated. For the town Erfurt, this applies in .apprx. 75% of the days of aerohygienic pollution, which can so be forecast.
