The Institute of Food Technologists Task Force on Leadership Through Education has launched the Internship Database that Employers and Academics Like to Use (IDEAL U). The IDEAL U forms a small part of the overall initiatives of the task force, which is seeking to ensure that food technology has a talented work force. IDEAL U comprises an easy-to-use web site into which students can enter their resume and internship qualifications for the purpose of finding the most suitable position in the food technology field.
