Data for the Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS) were collected from 9174 households and complete interviews were carried out among 9640 ever-married women aged 10-49 and 3284 husbands. The interviews took place between November 1993 and March 1994. Results are presented as a series of tables and figures.
