Cases [205] of fronto-basal traumatic lesions with CSF fistulas were treated. After stressing the importance of well-timed surgery, the various approaches are described and the results obtained are illustrated. Although these patients were mostly severely injured and in many cases had multiple injuries, in almost 2/3 good results were obtained.
