This is a survey of 1,786 rural households in Choongbuk province, South Korea, to enquire into farm wives' acceptance of modern family planning methods, part of the current rural development programme designed to raise rural living standards. Home visits by experts were found to increase the rate of adoption of modern methods. The recommendations include more direct contact with rural areas.
