Eye disease of the elderly

The elderly population is particularly susceptible to a number of eye diseases and degenerations. A summary of the more commonly encountered conditions is presented to include eyelid, conjunctival and corneal disorders. In addition, discussions of the retinopathies, macular degenerations, neuropathies, and glaucoma are given.
