Observations with cavinton treatment in acute cerebral ischaemic conditions

Cavinton infusion treatment has been applied as part of intensive care programme in patients admitted to our department with cerebrovascular accident. The changes in the characteristic clinical symptoms of later periods have been observed. Clinical data of patients suffering from similar conditions but receiving Cavinton as after-treatment served as control. On the basis of the results it has been concluded that therapeutic effectiveness could be improved by approximately 10-20% when applying Cavinton in the acute period which is an important progress in such a severe clinical condition having irreversible consequences.
