Data on demography, socioeconomic status, fertility, fertility preferences, contraception, marital status, assistance during delivery, postpartum variables (e.g., breast feeding, amenorrhoea), infant mortality, disease prevention and treatment, and nutritional state that are derived from the Jordan Population and Family Health Survey 2002, which involved 7825 rural and urban households in Jordan, are presented. Complete interviews were carried out among 6006 women aged 15-49 years between 1 July and 30 September 2001.
