The adolescents and young people are particularly vulnerable to the HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, and at the same time they can play an important role in the prevention of HIV and the epidemic control. As a matter of fact, the school surrounding has started to represent a privileged space to develop the actions that given the lack in order of vaccines are considered as the most efficient to combate the epidemic, such as the educational actions.The article below presents the HIV preventive strategy dedicated to 1.771 students from the Cantabrian Community with ages ranging between 12 and 15 years old.The results show the impact of the formative action on the Cantabrian adolescents at the three levels:their knowledge and opinions about the disease, their attitude and behavior towards the HIV.
