The case of a 45-yr-old carpenter is reported. Chest X-ray revealed massive fibrocystic lesions of the right upper lobe and bronchiactases were demonstrated by bronchography. High levels of antibodies against Aspergillus fumigatus were detected, but histopathological and cultural studies were negative for A.
