Technical data describing the electrogustometer and the use of this method in spaceflight on the Soyuz 30 and Soyuz 31 spacecraft are presented. Results of investigations of the taste perception threshold of cosmonauts before lauch, during weightlessness, and after return to Earth are discussed.
