The papers deal with a wide range of Canadian and global population and public health issues: video lottery terminal access and gambling among high school students in Montreal; characterizing the drug-injecting networks of cocaine and heroin injectors in Montreal; relationship between local availability and first-time use of specialists in an arthritis population; predictors and outcomes of household food insecurity among inner city families with preschool children in Vancouver; and exploring the relationship between domestic policies and health outcomes in Argentina and Uruguay.
