A Combination of antiviral agents including one or more anti-HIV viral protease and probably anti-HIV viral reverse transcriptase, with some traditional antiviral agents, antimicrobial agents to prevent pneumocystic carinii pneumonia and bacterial infections, becomes a universal therapeutic measurement of HIV-1 seropositive cases as well as AIDS patients of this country. Besides, in this work, a brief review of the recent literatures about new antiviral agents, resistant situations, new detection and screening methods for more sensitive and rapid serodiagnosis of the disease is made to assist the diagnosis and treatment of this dreadful disease of the HIV-1 infections.
