Knowledge, attitude and practice of family planning among rural and urban women of Ludhiana District was studied. Structured interview schedule was administered to collect data from 80 rural and 80 urban women. The analysis of the data revealed that urban women had a fair knowledge of various contraceptive methods while among the rural sample, the response was comparatively poor.
