Variations in 11 important characters of adult females of Anopheles annularis collected from Keonjhar District, Orissa, and Indore District, Madhya Pradesh, India, in March 1981 were determined. Highly significant differences were found between the 2 strains in the lengths of the head, antenna and left white tarsal segments of the hind leg and the widths of the head and right and left wings.
