2. In healthy subjects, 55 women and 40 men, serum silver, cobalt and chromium were estimated by neutron activation analysis using the method of gamma spectrometry without separation of different elements from the sample. People over 60 years old had higher serum Ag values than had younger subjects. Women had significantly higher serum Co values than had men. Men and women over 60 years old had similar serum Cr values. Women less than 60 years old had lower Cr values.
