The dento-maxillary system is, both in its development and in the maintainance of is integrity, in a close interdependence with the general state of the body, the deficitary enzymatic metabolic and immunologic alterations occuring during the evolution of some diseases concerning the general pathology. That fact implies the knowledge of the premorbid and morbid state of the entire body when establishing the diagnosis and the stomatologic therapy.
