Caries, enamel hypoplasia, and dental discolouration in dogs

Examination of the dentition of 373 dogs received for post mortem examination during one year revealed 12 cases of dental caries (localization tabulated) and one case of enamel hypoplasia (following distemper). Discolouration was present in these 13 cases, and also in one tooth of a dog with no other dental abnormality.
