The efficacy and safety of intranasal beclomethasone dipropionate (BD) was assessed in 37 patients with ragweed-induced allergic rhinitis. Significant differences (P < 0.05) favoring BD over placebo were noted for all nasal symptoms evaluated. BD is an effective treatment of ragweed allergic rhinitis.
