The identification of low-risk patients with myocardial infarction appears to be possible on the basis of symptomatic, ECG and enzymatic criteria. This allows rapid prognostic and therapeutic orientation, resulting in reduced times and costs of hospitalization, and thus low-risk patients can be allowed to resume their habitual way of life quickly.
