The aim of the work was to study in dynamics morphology of neural trunks at cutting the arterial vessels. On the first postoperative days there was noted a periaxonal degeneration of the ischiatic nerve fibres, certain retrograde changes in the axonal roots subjected to irreversible changes and decay. On the 20-25th days after the operation, at the place of the disintegrated axons, some new fine neural fibres appeared. Axonal regeneration, myelinization of young fibres, their differentiation took a long time. When wound suppuration took place, restoration of circulatory disorders, development of collateral occurred later in time, axonal degeneration was more pronounced, regeneration slowed down.
