Complexes of extracellular proteolytic enzymes synthesized by A. candidus with no C, N and S sources in the medium were separated and characterized using isoelectric focusing in a layer of granulated gel. All the studied extracellular enzymatic complexes included 4 exoproteases with close isoelectric points (pH 4.7, 4.5, 4.3 and 4.1.). The composition of individual proteases of the complexes does not depend on the nature of a source which induced derepression of exoproteases biosynthesis. Three of 4 individual proteases are isolated in electrophoretic homogeneous state by Sephadex isoelectric focusing.
